Terms of Service
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These terms cover the HoverEnhance website (hoverenhance.com) and the HoverEnhance macOS application. The short version: HoverEnhance is free, open-source software provided as-is, and this site exists to describe it and link you to downloads.
The software
HoverEnhance is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and redistribute it under the terms of that license. The license text in the GitHub repository is the authoritative version and governs your use of the software.
No warranty
As the MIT License states, the software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You use HoverEnhance at your own risk, and neither the maintainer nor any contributor is liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the software or its use.
The website
Content on this site is provided for general information. Version numbers, release notes, and download details are pulled automatically from GitHub and may occasionally lag behind or differ from the repository, which is the source of truth. Downloads are served from GitHub Releases, not from this site.
Third-party services
This site links to services operated by others — GitHub for source code, issues, and downloads, and a donation page for optional support. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
